BT has been a very important partner of Comic Relief for as long as we can remember – in fact, the folks at BT have been supporting Red Nose Day since the very beginning. After all these years, we really couldn’t imagine doing it without them, and here’s why:

They provide us with crucial call centre, network and phone support and also donate thousands of volunteers to man (and woman) the phones during the mammoth Red Nose Day TV show. It’s this incredible support that allows us to take millions of pounds in donations on the night of Red Nose Day.

This year, they rather brilliantly sponsored the celebrity Desert Trek and helped raise over £1.3 million.

BT also donated 1p for every call made on a BT landline meaning you could raise money for Red Nose Day just by having a good old natter on the old dog and bone.

And, to top it all off, their staff got up to all sorts of shenanigans to raise cash.

So there you have it. Big it up for BT.
