The biggest killer of men, under 45, in the UK is suicide

About the project

In 2015, 75% of all the people who took their own lives in the UK were male. The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) works to prevent male suicide by providing a confidential web-chat service. This is an invaluable service for those who prefer not to talk on the phone, or who do not have somewhere private to do so.

Worried about your mental health?

If you’re experiencing suicidal thoughts, call Samaritans, free at any time, on 116 123. This service is entirely confidential.

How you can help

£25 could pay for an hour’s web-chat support for four young men who are feeling suicidal in the UK.
