Our first time

This is the first time we have been involved with an event such as this and we were very conscious of the moral responsibility to provide as efficient a service as we possibly could, whilst making it fun.

What was so good about the evening was that almost half our volunteers were family or friends of Anglian employees including a number of teenagers and children as young as 10. They loved it - handing out cold drinks, bags of crisps, (eating a few!) and collecting donation forms etc.

We gave prizes for the most money collected and filmed some of the event for use in an Induction DVD for new employees, to show that Anglian Water is not just about pipes, water and sewerage!

Once the calls "kicked in" there was real buzz about the place and the time just flew! People are already asking about Red Nose Day 2007!
