Rugby Stars on hand

Over 100 Halifax General Insurance colleagues were really 'good sports' and gave up their Saturday night for Sport Relief.

Everyone had stacks of fun! From the 'stand up/sit down' bingo and mountains of food, through to Connect 4 competitions and watching TV, a laugh was had by all.

Teams certainly weren't camera shy and happily posed in their Sport Relief red socks and wigs at every opportunity! On the night Sylvester and Tweetie Pie made special guest appearances and helped to raise over £150 in colleague donations. Rugby stars from the Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls and Castleford Tigers and Halifax Teams even called into the centre to show their support for this very worthwhile cause.

Quite apart from the money taken in donation calls, we at Halifax in Leeds reached a grand total of £1,500 including HBOS Foundation matched funding! A night to remember!
