We had a chuckle!

Our first run at providing telephony support to Sport Relief 2006 resulted in over 120 volunteers being on their starting blocks at 6.45pm prompt.

Training and planning for the event started much earlier and included approaches to a number of local businesses for donations. Successfully negotiating this hurdle gave starter extraordinaire Stewart Calderwood time to mobilise the volunteers, covering a range of tasks, the most important of which was- of course - staffing the telephones. A couple of callers made us chuckle one even tried to pay us £20 CASH down the phone! The night, result = huge success!
