Before Fame Academy, before X Factor, before Britain's Got Talent, Fearne Cotton was discovered on a TV talent show!
She began her presenting career in 1998, at the age of just 16, on GMTV's The Disney Club , after being discovered in a nationwide talent search during the show.
From Top of the Pops and Red Nose Day here in the UK to Last Comic Standing and the Guinness Book of Records in the US, Fearne has become one of our most watched presenters.
I'm feeling more excited than scared about the climb at the moment. When I'm taking my first step on to the mountain it will all become very, very real, very, very quickly I’m sure.
I’m not what you’d call a seasoned mountain climber – I once had to abseil 100 feet down Canary Wharf and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.
I do love camping though so that’s a big plus. I go camping all the time, mainly in Cornwall. love tents, love sleeping bags, Iove waking up with your back as stiff as a board. Mind you at that point I don’t normally have to climb a mountain so we will see if I still love it then.
The group that’s going up are a really great bunch of people, although Moyles thinks he's sharing my tent but I’d like to make it clear that I’m not going to share my tent with Chris at any point in this trip for a whole number of reasons!
