Film stars, superheroes, doctors and nurses, wild west - there are endless themes to choose from for a bit of fancy dress fun. You could simply spend the day in your pyjamas or dress completely in red and don a Red Nose. Pay to dress up and pay more if you don’t!

Brass turns into Solid Gold

The Bell Inn Brass Band of Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, got all dressed up and blasted out some big tunes in their local high street for RND ’07. The trombone section won the award for silliest outfit and altogether the brass band raised the golden sum of £530. Trumpet fanfare please!
