On Red Nose Day over 1,000 staff from NFU Mutual took part in a dress down day with a difference! Staff reminisced back to their childhood days and dressed up as what or who they always wanted to be when they grew up. In addition to this they also had a conga line round their office park, one employee was sponsored to shave off his beard, they used the Red Nose Day sweepstake posters, held CD and book sales, had a cake sale, a raffle and various fun themed competitions too! They’ve raised over £2,000 and the money is still coming in!

Specsavers in Hereford did their own version of the Apprentice for Red Nose Day. The two teams, ‘The Survivors’ and ‘The Money Makers’ were each given a pedicab (plus a driver!) and their mission was simply to raise more money than each other. Despite the weather they’ve already raised a whopping £5000! They are now tasked with selling a set menu at a local restaurant for as much money as possible – we wish all the candidates good luck!

Chris Nairne (aka ‘mankini man’) from RBS has for the last 10 years raised over £30,000 for Comic Relief. He’s shaved his head and painted it red, he’s even worn a tutu, but this year he decided it had to be a mankini! Thanks to the support of his colleagues Chris has raised £7,500 and says ‘it’s the people that donated the money that are stars.... I’m just the idiot with no shame willing to do silly things to part them with their cash!’

Staff at ADP raised a fantastic £461.34 for Red Nose Day by wearing their pyjamas to work, selling cakes, and hosting ‘Who Lives in a House Like This?’ and ‘Guess Who’s Body Part’ competitions! They even sold curry by the plateful!
Thank you ADP!
