The Comic Relief Club Rules
- By becoming a member of the Comic Relief Club (the ‘Club’) you agree to these terms and conditions, and to the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of this website.
- To gain access to the Comic Relief Club you must:
- be a UK resident, and at least 16 years old, and
- have raised and paid in at least £100 in donations (excluding Gift Aid) to Comic Relief in one of the following ways:
- through your Red Nose Day Giving page at www.rednoseday.com/rndgiving, or
- through your online donation page at www.rednoseday.com/donate/fundraising, or
- you must have received a personalised Club access code sent to you by post (in a Red Nose Day 2009 Fundraising Kit ) or by email (these codes have been sent to fundraisers who we can verify raised £100 or more in Red Nose Day 2007).
- Eligible fundraisers will be sent an email on receipt by Comic Relief of receiving £100 or more through the fundraiser’s Red Nose Day Giving page, or through the fundraiser paying in £100 or more at www.rednoseday.com/donate/fundraising, inviting them to join the Club and providing instructions on how to do so. You must claim your Club membership in the manner and by the date specified in the email. We aim to send the email within 24 hours, but cannot guarantee this. One entry only per person.
- We may cancel or refuse membership of the Club if we believe you are in breach of these rules or your fundraising is unlawful, inappropriate or likely to bring us into disrepute.
- We may cancel or refuse membership of the Club if we believe you are in breach of these rules or your fundraising is unlawful, inappropriate or likely to bring us into disrepute.
- We do not accept any responsibility for any delay or failure in receiving any communication or donation for any reason, including without limitation network or system failures.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties, representations and all liability (including without limitation for negligence) relating to the Club and any benefits offered to Club members (other than liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
- These rules are governed by the laws of England.
- The Club is operated and promoted by Comic Relief of 5th Floor, 89 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TP, registered charity 326568 (England/Wales); SC039730 (Scotland).
