Jo Brand, Jennifer Saunders and Claudia Winkleman are just some of the big names revealed as part of the line up for the new and improved Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief.
Hosted by legendary duo Mel and Sue as part of Red Nose Day 2017, the show will see celebrities take to the stage to recreate iconic song and dance performances, from ABBA’s Dancing Queen to Sia’s Chandelier.
The first round of celebrity performers includes astrologer Russell Grant, actress Sally Lindsay, comedian Sara Pascoe, actresses Harriet Thorpe and Helen Lederer, Casualty and Holby City stars Chizzy Akudolu, Tony Marshall and Amanda Henderson, and The One Show reporters Angellica Bell, Iwan Thomas, Alex Riley, Michelle Ackerley and Dominic Littlewood.
"The show-off in me is so, so excited,” says Sara Pascoe, “The sensible person in me believes I have made a terrible mistake!"
Each week the celebrities will perform to a star-studded judging panel, featuring the likes of Jo Brand, Jason Manford, Paul O’Grady, Frank Skinner, Jennifer Saunders and Claudia Winkleman.
Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief is a four-part series and will start next month on Saturday nights on BBC One.
