The Red Nose Day Super Fundraisers are a team of amazing past fundraisers who are inspiring others to follow in their footsteps, and helping to make Red Nose Day the biggest and best yet.
Community spirit is at the heart of everything Les Quennevais does. Teachers are inspired to organise Red Nose Day fundraising because the students leave the school cherishing memories of charity days, and with a caring and kind approach to life. “Red Nose Day gives us all the chance to let our hair down and have fun together, but also to reflect on how lucky we are” they say.
Les Quennevais have taken part in a Gallopathon, lunchtime talent shows, gunging events and more. In 2015 they raised £6,000, placing them in the top three schools in the UK for fundraising. They credit their success to every student and staff member, their ability to carry on Red Nose Day traditions and create new memories, and every individual’s dedication to the community spirit within the school.
Les Quennevais School’s fundraising tip: Host a karaoke party or fashion show, charge an entry fee and get people laughing! The school’s teachers once performed as the Spice Girls – with a cameo appearance from Tom Jones! – while lots of students watched on!
