A big thank you to all our partners!
Red Nose Day 2007 really was The Big One - but we couldn’t have done it without a team of wonderful companies who worked incredibly hard to make the campaign a huge success.
As always, the BBC pulled out all the stops to support Red Nose Day across the board – through radio, short documentary films and TV.
BT has always been a massive supporter of Comic Relief and Red Nose Day 2007 was no exception. They had the crucial job of making it possible for the public to call up and donate money on the night of Red Nose Day.
Sainsbury’s sold millions of Red Noses and bucket loads of RND ’07 goodies – including car noses, pin badges, the giggler, Jamie’s Little Book of Big Treats and the Comic Relief Does Little Britain Live DVD.
Loads of Red Noses, Pin badges and Big Smelly Nose Balls were sold at Oxfam shops up and down the country.
TK Maxx was our official Red Nose Day t-shirt retailer and they showed their big love for the campaign by selling thousands of ‘I ♥ RND ’07’ t-shirts.
Listen up! Walkers sold tons of red WalkEARS via their on-pack promotion and dedicated website, and even had Gary Lineker, Girls Aloud, Harry Hill, Russell Brand and Stephen Fry starring in a TV ad to launch the great big lugs.
The country couldn’t wait to get their paws on the cutest ever Andrex® Red Nose Day puppy. The lovable pooch even wore the official RND ’07 t-shirt to back the campaign.
Kleenex® ran their ‘Blow £1’ campaign which saw Bobby Davro, Bob Carolgees, Keith Harris and Les Dennis blub their way into special Red Nose Day packs of tissues.
What a 6-pack! Müller’s® ‘Big Splat’ campaign featured special edition promotional 6-packs and exclusive ‘Big Pots’ of yoghurts with a tasty donation coming to Comic Relief.
npower’s energy for the campaign soared as they donated £1 per gas/electricity quote and £4 for each customer who signed-up for an energy account. Customers also received a free energy lightbulb and joke book endorsed by one of Comic Relief’s favourites – Lenny Henry.
