BT are, in short, fabulous and the support they give us is utterly crucial.

Not only do they provide all the technology that enables us to take donations from the public, plus thousands of volunteers to answer these calls, they also sponsored the BT Red Nose Challenges for Red Nose Day 2013.

First up was The BT Red Nose Challenge: Hell or High Water, which saw a team of intrepid celebrities take on the mighty Zambezi. With BT’s help, Jack Dee, Chelsee Healee, Melanie C, Dara O'Briain, Greg James and Phillips Idowu tackled rapids, burning heat and deadly wildlife to raise money to help young girls in Zambia go to school.

Then, The BT Red Nose Challenge: Miranda's Mad March saw Miranda Hart tackle a different challenge each day for a week in cities across the UK. Amongst other shenanigans, this saw the irrepressible Miranda attempt an armpit-waxing Guinness World Record in Newcastle, set up her own girl band in a day in Birmingham, and organise a wedding in London. All of this with a dodgy knee… and none of it would have been possible without BT.

On top of all this, BT staff up and down the country also raise huge amounts of cash each Red Nose Day, and Red Nose Day 2013 was no different.

Altogether, BT have raised a stunning £507, 329 for us, and we couldn’t imagine life without them.
