The Magical
Fundraising Rainbow

Children from Margaret Roper Catholic Primary School dressed up in all the colours of the rainbow for Red Nose Day 2009 and collected their very own pot of gold – raising over £485 in donations!

The money raised could give eight young people living on the streets of Kenya a new future by paying for them to train as mechanics, so they can earn a living and work their way out of poverty.

Hemel Hempstead's
Got Fashion

The Hemel Hempstead School showed star quality with their own X Factor competition. Initial auditions were followed by a live final in their school hall – bedecked with all manner of Red Nose Day paraphernalia - and the audience votes decided the winner.

At just £3 for entry, the show was a huge success and raised a stellar £1,419. That’s enough to help 45 young people struggling to cope with mental health problems in the UK by paying for them to have a one-to-one counselling session.

A Tasty Way to
Raise Cash!

Last Red Nose Day the Sciennes Primary School in Edinburgh held a bake sale, sold loads of Red Noses and had a fantastic time. Sounds simple enough. And it was also brilliant enough to raise a massive £1,806.

That’s enough to fund small business grants for 60 young people living on the streets of Tanzania, enabling them to have a more secure future.
