A great big thank you

Great British Menu chefs, together with our friends at Café Rouge, Strada, Bella Italia and Belgo plus hundreds of other restaurants across the UK all took part in Menu Relief.

From donations on dishes to special Red Nose Day menus, it all raised a very tasty sum. So, a massive thanks to all the restaurants who took part and made a difference.

Aiden Byrne is the Proprietor of The Church Green British Grill, in Lymm. Recently named AA Restaurant of the Year for 2012-13 for England, The Church Green serves high quality British, locally-sourced, seasonal fare.

Colin McGurran is the Head Chef at Winteringham Fields, in Lincolnshire. Awarded two AA Rosettes, Winteringham Fields serves up fresh, seasonal, local produce, presented with a touch of thoughtfulness and flair.

Daniel Clifford

Daniel Clifford is the Chef Patron of the Midsummer House restaurant, in Cambridge. With two Michelin Stars and four AA Rosettes, it’s known for seriously sophisticated food that’s underpinned by classical French technique, dressed in a strikingly contemporary style, and tastes every bit as good as it looks.

Michael Smith

Michael Smith is the Chef/Director of The Three Chimneys, in the Isle of Skye. Holding three AA Rosettes, this top Scottish restaurant delivers seasonal and locally-sourced food in a beautiful location with spectacular sea views. The restaurant will be taking part in Menu Relief from 4th February until 1st April, as well as hosting a special fundraising lunch on 15th March.

Peter Sanchez-Iglesias

Peter Sanchez-Iglesias is the Chef  Proprietor at Casamia, along with his brother Jonray. Cooking with the very best British produce to create a menu which reflects childhood memories and encompasses all of the senses, Casamia has earned a Michelin Star and four AA Rosettes.

Raymond McArdle is the Head Chef and Restaurant Director of Restaurant 23. Located in Balmoral, Warrenpoint, Restaurant 23 is currently in the top 3 in Northern Ireland in all International Food Guides.

Richard Davies is the Head Chef at the Michelin-Starred Bybrook Restaurant, of the Manor House Hotel, in the Cotswolds. Combining local ingredients and produce from the hotel's kitchen garden he excels in creating a range of culinary masterpieces.

Tom Aikens is Chef Proprietor of Tom Aikens Restaurant, in Chelsea. Its classic French cooking, with modern British twist, celebrates the simplicity of good ingredients and has won it critical acclaim, a coveted Michelin Star and five AA Rosettes. Tom will be serving up his Great British Menu dishes from 5th Feb to 31st March.
