Pop a Cork - Wine Relief's back in town!

12th February 2007

Wine Relief is back! That's right, having raised a huge £2million so far for Comic Relief, the nation is all set to un-cork even more bottles of cash for Red Nose Day 2007.

The UK's biggest wine retailers will donate 10 percent of the sale of selected wines to help poor and disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa.

Jancis Robinson, a driving force behind the campaign with husband and restaurant critic Nick Lander, explained "You can treat yourself to some Châteauneuf-du-Pape, celebrate with champagne or just enjoy a cool glass of chardonnay with friends; it's a small and enjoyable way to make a big difference."

So whether you like your tipple red, white, sweet or dry, choose a Wine Relief bottle and a corking amount of cash will come to Comic Relief to change lives.
