Grannies Get 'Pimped' - The Amazing Result!
Back on 5 March, we told you that a group of lovely ladies in Leek, Staffordshire were about to get their shabby, rust-encrusted mini-bus pimped for MTV’s ‘Pimp My Red Nose Ride’.
Tim Westwood made a special pit stop to deliver the surprise news, saying ‘It ain’t right for gran to go to bingo in a battered and busted old bucket!"
Now the ladies of Leek, who rely on the mini-bus to get them to their regular weekly lunch club, have a super charged pimped up delight to travel around in!
Gone is the mini-bus which was in a state of serious disrepair, with a broken wheelchair lift and little warmth or comfort. Thanks to Tim and the MTV crew, the ladies can now go on outings in the style in which they deserve.
