Hold onto your antlers this Christmas, Robbie the Reindeer is back with a star studded cast and a mission to save the world!
Keep your eyes peeled as Bafta award winning Robbie the Reindeer returns to BBC ONE on Christmas Day at 2.30pm with the feature length animation Robbie the Reindeer in Close Encounters of the Herd Kind.
When Robbie’s wedding is halted by the presence of a sinister crystal and his fiancé Donner is kidnapped by aliens, Robbie must embark on a mission to stop the destruction of the planet by the evil Vorkana, Queen of the Nargathrons. But with the clock ticking and a best man too love sick to be of any assistance, will our hero rescue his sweetheart and save the world in time?
A host of brand new characters join the regular band of pals voiced by an A-list cast. Keira Knightley, Ozzy Osbourne, Gillian Anderson, Russell Brand, Graham Norton, Ross Kemp, Shane Ritchie, Sophie Ellis Bexter and Michael Palin have teamed up with a returning cast of Ardal O’Hanlon, Jane Horrocks, Harry Enfield, Paul Whitehouse and Sean Hughes to give this film more than a hint of Christmas sparkle.
