Get set for sparks to fly as multi-millionaire and boss of Amstrad Sir Alan Sugar brings his big reputation to Comic Relief Does The Apprentice!

In another Comic Relief TV first, ten top celebrity candidates will battle to build businesses that must raise as much money as possible for the charity. Over three gruelling days these high profile stars do battle in two teams under the watchful eyes of Sir Alan's trusted sidekicks, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford.

On Thursday 15 March, Sir Alan sets a tough, hands-on task that sees the teams using all their skill and stamina to run rival attractions at a packed ticket-only celebrity funfair on London's South Bank.

The Apprentice

The competition is tough and the teams will have to use every trick in the book to win the challenge, calling on their celebrity friends to muck in and help squeeze every pound they can out of the big spenders on the night.

With some of Britain's wealthiest businessmen, footballers and MPs in attendance including Simon Cowell, Chris Evans, Stuart Rose, Ashley Cole and Tessa Jowell, the teams are determined to get them reaching for their cheque books no matter what it takes.

Expect tantrums, tears and sweat from the off as the teams are pushed to their absolute limits - all in the name of the Red Nose.

Following the task, the teams will be summoned to Sir Alan's infamous boardroom to defend their performances. Whatever the outcome, one team wins and one team loses - in the losing team, a celebrity is going to suffer the humiliation of getting fired by TV's most belligerent man, Sir Alan Sugar.

The name of the 'fired' celebrity and the total amount raised by the two teams will be revealed in a final showdown with Sir Alan Sugar on Comic Relief's big night of TV on 16 March.
