Miranda loses her mojo and her Academy spot!

8 March 2007

Miranda was the second student to be voted out of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy last night.

Both judges and students appeared shocked when Mel, Linda and Miranda were revealed as the three students forced to take to the stage again to sing for survival.

Mel, who realised after she'd finished that she'd done her whole performance with her flies undone, was first to sing again, followed by Linda and Miranda.

The Judges saved Mel saying she was ‘creative and an asset to the Academy’ which left Linda and Miranda to face the dreaded student vote.

Linda, who confessed that her mum had spent £200 on votes to keep her daughter in the academy on Saturday night, was saved by her fellow students.

Although being disappointed to be voted out before even entering the Academy, Miranda said ‘I’m honoured to have been a part of Red Nose Day. I lost my mojo in the circle of fear so the students absolutely voted for the right person.’

The fight for survival continues tonight on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, BBC ONE, 7pm – don’t miss it!
