Tara wins third series of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy
Tara was crowned winner of the third series of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.
TPT and Tricia battled it out in the final which took place during Comic Relief - The Big One on Friday night.
Whilst they both gave it their all, Tara's performance was truly show stopping.
She made her entrance in red PVC gloves, a thigh-high spilt dress and over the knee boots embossed with 'I ♥ Red Nose Day'.
Whilst Tricia was widely acknowledged to have the best voice of the competition, it was Tara that won the public over and, as Craig Revel Horwood said, this series she went 'from disaster to divine'.
Throughout the whole series, Tara has been riveting to watch. She went from a nervous wreck whose fear of singing live threatened to overwhelm her completely, to a class act with a soulful voice giving sensational performances.
You voted for Tara to be the winner in a nail biting finale and she was both shocked and overjoyed to win Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.
Tara never forgot why she entered The Academy - to make a difference to people's lives by raising money for Comic Relief. Thanks to Tara, her fellow students and all of you who voted, the show generated over £780,000 through public votes which will help to transform lives.
