Star Judges On Comic Relief Does Glee Club

An all-star celebrity line-up of judges, including Alesha Dixon, Denise Van Outen and Melanie C, has been unveiled for CBBC’s up-coming new show Comic Relief does Glee Club.
Hosted by CBBC favourites Sam & Mark, the spectacular, all-singing, all-dancing new series kicks off on Monday 14th March on BBC One and aims to find the UK’s best Glee Club.
The hotly anticipated first episode sees 18 Glee clubs from around the UK battle it out for one of the nine places in the final. The young hopefuls get put through their paces by top professional vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant and choreographer Sisco Gomez before the nine finalist clubs are revealed.
From Tuesday 15th March - Thursday 17th March, the Glee Clubs will be showcasing their singing and dancing abilities by performing a variety of songs from chart hits to musical favourites. Celebrity judge commentators including award winning singer song writer and former Spice Girl, Melanie C, and actress and West End star, Denise Van Outen, will be on hand to provide expert advice.
The nail-biting final takes place on March 18th when ‘Strictly’ judge, Alesha Dixon, will join the judges and viewers choose which Glee Club will be crowned ‘Comic Relief Glee Club Winners 2011’. Chart-topping boy band, The Wanted, will also be performing the official Comic Relief single ‘Gold Forever’.
