It's all happening in the South this Red Nose Day.
Radio 1's Chris Moyles and his Breakfast team take their obsession with karaoke to a whole new scale, touring the UK with their prize-filled 'Truck of Luck' to host karaoke nights for Comic Relief. The very first night will be at the Old Fire Station in Bournemouth on Friday 9 March.

Also in Portsmouth, The Royal Navy School of Physical Training (RNSPT) is staging THE BIG BOUNCE - when RNSPT staff will complete a 12 hour
continuous trampoline session from 10pm on Thursday 15 March to 10am on Friday 16. The aim of the event is to complete 15,000 'bounces' to raise
funds for Red Nose Day!
In Theale near Reading, the staff of Walkers Crisps - one our official partners for Red Nose Day - will be staging their own in-house versions
of the Apprentice and Fame Academy to raise even more funds for Red Nose Day.

Since the first Red Nose Day back in 1985 Comic Relief has spent over £6.0 million on over 300 projects in the BBC South region.
Many older people in the UK live very lonely and isolated lives without the daily social interaction that most of us take for granted. Thanks to you,
Comic Relief is supporting Edward May Court Social Group in Bournemouth to enable older residents with visual or mobility impairment to become
involved in gardening. The funding has allowed the group to build a sensory garden, which gives residents the opportunity to interact with each
other and feel less alone.
