The BT Red Nose Desert Trek
The team of nine brave celebrities have finally completed the BT Red Nose Desert Trek after five very long, scorching hot, and extremely gruelling days. They’re exhausted and in pain but know what a difference the cash they raise can make to people’s lives. So sponsor the team - it’s not too late!
The BT Red Nose Desert Trek
Across Africa, millions of people are at risk of losing their sight due to conditions that are preventable and treatable.
Help Is In Sight
Our brave trekkers are aiming to raise money for Comic Relief to help people living unimaginably tough lives in Africa and the UK.
They are also highlighting the devastating impact of avoidable blindness from conditions such as trachoma and cataracts - both of which can be easily treated.
Going blind can rob people of their chance to work, support their children and, in turn, build a better life for their families. When children lose their sight, there's up to a fifty per cent chance that they'll die within two years. So helping to tackle avoidable blindness isn't just about restoring someone's sight - it can mean the difference between life and death.
Just a small amount of money can make a huge difference - so make sure you sponsor our BT Desert Trekkers now!
